Can I Make This Turkey Stuffing Casserole Ahead of Time?

Sure can, and I highly suggest it if you want to save time.
Assemble up to 48 hours before just up to the point of putting it into the oven. Cover with tin foil, and place it into the refrigerator.
Remove it at least 30 minutes before baking and place into the oven.

Can I Freeze Stuffing?

Yes, for up to three months, even!
Place into the freezer in airtight containers, and bring to room temperature before reheating in the oven for 15 -20 minutes at 350°F.
I suggest reheating in a baking dish and covering it with tin foil.
You may also want to add a small of amount of chicken broth to preventing it from drying out.

Difference between Thanksgiving Stuffing and Dressing

Honestly, this turkey stuffing recipe should be referred to as dressing because of the way its’ cooked.
It’s also referred to as dressing regardless in certain parts of the country, like the south.
Dressing is cooked separately from the turkey in a baking dish like a casserole.
Stuffing is cooked inside the turkey while the bird is in the oven.
People from the northeast tend to call it stuffing.
